Mentoring and ADHD Coaching for Nutritional Therapists

You know how to help your clients but running your own Nutritional Therapy practice with an ADHD brain is a different job. I can help you build a practice that works with the way you think, and back you up on the clinical side too.

Does any of this sound familiar?

– Client notes and protocols pile up, and the admin gets done at 10pm, if at all.

– You start a case plan with energy, then lose the thread halfway through.

– Or you get lost down rabbit holes of research, spending hours over-preparing but not knowing how else to be

– Test results arrive and you are not sure what to order next, or how far to interpret what you see

– Supplement decisions take far longer than they should – how to chose from so many!

– Marketing and business tasks stay on the list because they never feel urgent, meaning that you often fail to promote services and offers effectively

– You are a good practitioner and you are exhausted by the way you have to work.

Who I am

I am Emily Fawell, a Registered Nutritional Therapist (BANT and CNHC) and a Certified ADHD Coach. I have 17 years in clinical practice, and I have built and run a practice of my own throughout that time as well as a successful corporate nutrition business.

I am also a Clinical Supervisor on a Nutritional Therapy degree, so I spend a good part of my working life helping practitioners think through cases with more confidence.

Before nutrition, I worked in commercial marketing and senior project management. I understand the business side as well as the clinical side.

I’m also late-diagnosed ADHD (at the age of 55) and have achieved all of this whilst unaware of my ADHD brain.

What we can work on together

Every session is shaped around what you bring. Most people mix the clinical and the personal, and that is how it should be.

Working with ADHD as a practitioner
Developing systems for notes, follow-ups, diary and energy that you will actually keep using. Coaching on focus, overwhelm, procrastination and motivation, built around the way your attention works.

Case support
Talk through complex or stuck cases (anonymised), sharpen your clinical reasoning, and decide your next step with someone who has seen a great many similar situations.

Tests and interpretation
Which tests are worth suggesting, when, and why. How to read results in context, and how to explain them to a client clearly and within your scope.

Protocols
Building clear, realistic client protocols, and templates you can reuse so that every plan does not start from a blank page.

Supplements
Advice on supplement choices, quality, timing and safety, and how to keep your reasoning and records tidy and defensible.

Growing a sustainable practice
Pricing, boundaries, getting clients, and structuring your week so that the practice supports you rather than draining you. Working out how to make marketing work for you. Understanding how RSD might be holding you back from being more visible.

How it works

1. Talk. A short, no-obligation conversation about where you are and what you want.
2. Choose. We agree the package and what to focus on first.
3. Work. Each session ends with small, specific next steps, so you leave with something to do, not just something to think about.

Good to know

– This is coaching and mentoring. It does not replace any clinical supervision your professional body requires.
– Case discussion is anonymised. Please never share client names or identifying details with me.
– Nutritional therapy supports people with ADHD. It does not treat it, and neither does this service.
– I do not diagnose ADHD. If you think you may have it, I can point you towards next steps.
